EXHIBITION designed for lapalma | Salone del Mobile 2014
The result of Lapalma’s research and evolution is clearly visible in the 300 sqm space at the Fair: a stand designed by Francesco Rota, that comprises several zones to demonstrate effectively the characteristics and functions of the products.
The concept of the stand focuses on separating the space and creating different environments by using see-through screens. Like polarized lens’ used in photography, the screens are black grids with stripes oriented in various ways to give the effect of either a solid wall or a semi-transparent wall, depending on the point of view. The overlapping grids divide spaces and create environments in a totally white setting, thus offering a strong graphic effect.
