Uptown is a piece that was particularly created to be adaptive and flexible in any environment. Its timeless line and architectonic proportions render it more as an object in the space than a piece of furniture. Uptown derives its refined fluid form from water stones that nature, with the help of the elements, through time shapes into perfect ovals. Francesco Rota strived to create an iconic piece, a design that evokes immediately the visual sense of comfort even before one has had the chance to experience it tangibly.
